I was recently listening to “Talk of the Nation” on NPR and the show was about health care. Should the government become socialist offer it to everyone free, and what-not.

A woman called in and was explaining why she supports state-managed health care. She grew up in a staunch Republican household, then joined the military and therefore had access to unlimited free health care. “It’s been such a great experience, I decided everyone should have it....” so she became a Democrat.

Please, woman, for the love of all things good and pure, use what’s left of your brain to think of a reason not to vote in November.
