Vomiting, diarrhea, backaches, and colds
Never in my life have I experienced so much of all of the above as I have in the past several months. The four of us have been healthy for a couple of months now, which is the longest stretch since we started leaving the house with the boys on a regular basis a year ago.
So Nozin is entering our lives in a timely manner. It’s a new illness-fighting product that claims to “kills 99.% of most common disease-causing germs.” It looks like a q-tip and you’re supposed to swab it around the inner rims of your nostrils before you go into crowded areas such as planes, school, and – if you’re in the preschool set – the church nursery!
Parent Bloggers sent me a trial pack that Jonathan and I plan to use when we take our next plane trip. Even though each swab should last hours, I’m assuming Jonathan - being the germophobe that he is - will go through the entire pack within 30 minutes.
I’m not crazy about using it on the boys, mostly because they’re so young, but also because they probably still get most germs by putting things in their mouths instead of their noses. (inner mouth rim sanitizer, anyone?)
