Favorites: books and coffee
It’s Saturday evening and I’m here in Barnes & Noble contemplating the utter loveliness of sitting in a comfortable overstuffed chair, sipping Starbucks coffee, and not being responsible for the well-being of two 1 ½ year-old boys. (only 95% responsible)
Ahhhh....
Some people despise Barnes & Noble and Starbucks and what they represent, but not me. They both provide exactly what I want: a wide selection of books, a place to read them - and - a grande decaf latte with whipped cream, and powdered nutmeg, cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla. And the combination of the three is blissfully brilliant.
What about you? What is your Starbucks beverage of choice?
(or do you run away screaming at the sight of the ubiquitous black and green logo?)

As a former Starbucks barista, I have had the chance to sample most everything on the menu and create quite a few drinks as well. The possibilities? Truly endless. My fave of the day is a simple decaf, non-fat Toffee Nut latte.
