Ah, so I do have the ability to focus....

I put the boys down for their nap today and sat down at the dining room table to watch a clip from some morning show featuring Heather Armstrong (Dooce).  Kathie Lee Gifford was the interviewer so you know I must be very interested in the interviewee because I avoid KLG at all costs.   In fact, if you want to know what I'm like, watch KLG and imagine the opposite.

Anyhoo, I was halfway into the interview when all the sudden it dawns on me that Jonah is screaming.  Not whining, Screaming.  And he had been for a few minutes.  Ahem, oops.  When I opened the bedroom door I discover Benjamin sitting on Jonah's head and bouncing up and down.  Hence the screaming.

I plopped Jonah back into his own crib and give him a brief assertiveness training course.  "Jonah, if Benjamin is sitting on your head, you say 'No Benjamin!  Get off of me!'"

Jonah looks up and says, "No Benjamin!  Get off of me mine head!"
