A tale of two excrements

I lifted Jonah out of the bath, dried him off, and sent him on his merry way. I lifted Benjamin out of the bath, dried him off, and went to find Jonah so I could diaper/pajama him. I laid him down and discovered his smallest poop ever (and this is a kid infamous for wasting many diapers on teeny – yet terribly smelly – poops).

A couple hours later, after the boys went to bed, Jonathan leaned over to pick up a small piece of mulch from under the table beside the couch. It squished slightly between his fingers. Oh yes, this was the rest of the Jonah-poop.

And did we learn our lesson and immediately diaper him after the next bath?

The next night I found one piece of mulch under the curtains in their bedroom and another in the entryway. Jonathan suggested he is marking his territory.

After his bath, Jonah now gets diapered at the speed of light.  And by the way, look at how much hair he's sprouted in the last few weeks:

Update on the Nursery Stalker: when we went into the nursery to pick up the boys Sunday morning, the Stalker was in the process of giving Benjamin a big hug and a kiss. Benjamin wasn’t so sure what to make of this, but perhaps the Stalker had a Damascus Road experience. To be continued, perhaps....
