Is it crack? Or just valium?

It was the grocery store visit from hell. Jonah was whining non-stop (he’s in another whiney phase) and even apple-munching was not entertaining the Benjasaurus. I got into an argument with the cashier over three separate things. I left the screaming dudes in the cart next to the cashier (to torture her) while I fetch the manager, who took his precious time resolving the situation. The boys yipped and yapped all the way home. I discovered Benjamin’s diaper leaked and who knows how long he’d been sitting in a completely soaked outfit. (Did I forget to change him? Who the heck knows.)

It was that kind of afternoon.

I got home and opened an email from my aunt: “We enjoyed your recent visit so much. Your boys are such a joy to be around.”

Yeah, give me some of whatever she’s taking.

Ah... I've had moments like that too! I'd love to tell you it gets better when they get older, but that would be a great big huge lie :) No, actually, it does get a little better. Not as much crying, just more whining for toys and candy and such.

Don't worry, we all have days like that once in a while. Hope tomorrow is a better one!
