If I'm a mattress, I'll need a catheter

Jonah woke up early from a nap the other day and I thought he might just want to rest a while and not play yet.  So I laid on the couch and put him on my chest.  He promptly fell asleep.  For an hour and a half.  I thought my bladder was going to burst and drench us both.  But I just couldn't bring myself to move.  He was so relaxed.  So I stared into space the whole time.  Which wasn't a bad way to spend an hour and a half, really.

We are headed home today after a three week stint in Texas visiting family.  When we arrived, Benjamin was still crawling half the time - now he pretty much just walks.  Jonah had just taken his first steps and now he walks a third of the time.  And their vocabulary has expanded to include ... for Jonah ...Turtle, Cricket (his great aunt and uncle's dog), All Done, and Bubbles ... and for Benjamin ... Bobby (his great-grandmother's name), Bubbles, and a distinctive growl which is how he asked his grandfather to chase him!

Check out these pacifiers - haha - if we hadn't all suffered through pacifier detox already, we'd immediately get the piglet one for Benjamin!
