The inaugural edition of Five on the Fifth certainly generated an eclectic mix of sites! I’ve visited each of the entries and here are my top five, in no particular order.  Check them out!

1. An Island Life, written by a fellow Mom and island-dweller. We first met during her Valentine’s Goody Swap and she sent me these tasty treats, all from Hawaii:

2. Toddler Planet, written by a scientist turned stay-at-home-mom. She has a category called “Things to Do” with great ideas such as this.... Do you need any other reason to visit her site?! As an added bonus, you get interesting updates on outer space!

3. The Twinkies, by a fellow Mom of twins. I am in awe that she breastfed them, uses cloth diapers, and still has the where-with-all to ponder deep thoughts such as this. And check out this worth-a-thousand-words photo!

4. Information Age Education, written by Rebecca Newburn, provides resources on best teaching practices. A good read for any educators - including homeschoolers – filled with both practical and philosophical ideas.

5. Life with Two Little Vikings, whose author also has The Narnian on her "To Read" list for this year. She and I are also thankful for exactly the same things (well, except for the fleece pajamas and humidifier – we’re in Miami, you know!). This photo is too cute and a common site in our house as well!
