How I win friends and influence people

I was sitting by myself in a lobby, composing a blog post, when a woman in her 60s sat down beside me. She was perusing a recent U.S. News & World Report magazine. Showing me a picture of Bill Clinton, she said “Doesn’t he look so debonair and handsome in this picture? That was only 10 years ago.”

Me:   I never thought he was that good-looking.

Woman:   No, I didn’t like him either, but he looks so young and attractive here.

Me:   I never found him attractive.

Woman (shrugging):   Well, that’s what 10 years will do...
