Interview: Little Mummy
Today is the fourth in a series of interviews of up-and-coming bloggers whose ideas are influencing the blogosphere (my own personal blogosphere, anyway). Our guest is Erica, who shares parenting and teaching ideas and inspiration on her blog, Little Mummy. She has a daughter, Erin, and lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.

First things first: due to my recent exciting discovery of floss picks, I would like to discuss flossing. Do you in fact floss and if so, how often?
I go through phases of flossing. You've just reminded me so I'll probably go through another phase before forgetting again.
Until the week before your next dental appointment. Then, if you’re like me, you’ll start flossing again like mad.
What was the best movie you’ve seen in the last few months (and did it involve flossing)?
“Little Miss Sunshine” restored my faith in film. A small production, low budget, but an amazing story.
Hmmm, sounds like “Mongolian Ping Pong” and “ Das Leben Der Anderen / Lives of Others,” both of which I’ve seen recently and recommend. You’ve convinced me – it’s going on the NetFlix list.
When was your biggest day of traffic for your blog? Where did the traffic come from? (I’m assuming you didn’t write about floss picks.)
My biggest traffic day was last month. I wrote a list of 50 Kids Activities For Summer and it got stumbled quite a bit. It also pulled in a few extra subscribers.
An excellent post – full of great ideas! And necessary for those of us living in a summer climate virtually year-round! (I especially liked the Peanut Hunt and Icing Characters!) When you’re not creating brilliant lists, watching movies… or flossing…. what music are you listening to these days (apart from “Old McDonald Had a Farm” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”)?
I like 60's music, Elvis, and anything by Elton John. I'm 24 so I guess I have quite an old taste in music. As for present day music I like songs by Amy Winehouse, James Morrison and Jack Johnson, I tend to like songs rather than follow artists.
I’ve not heard of Jack Johnson nor Amy Winehouse, but I’m looking for some MP3s to add to my phone, so I will check these two out. Finally, you don’t have a blogroll on your site -- so which blogs do you make it a point to visit regularly ?
I have my favourite sites on RSS. They include my absolute must-reads:
Thank you, Erica! Besides the Summer Activities post mentioned above, here are a few other informative and amusing Little Mummy posts:
