Around Zine is not one of them.
Around is an insightful and thought-provoking zine, but also fun and a bit zany....it will inspire, amuse, and delight you! While Around definitely includes some homeschooling topics, it focuses more on the eclectic issues and ideas that make up the daily lives of homeschooling families. (see below for issue previews)
Around Zine is published four times a year, the first issue appearing February 1, 2009 with a cover price of $4. Issue 2 arrived April 1, Issue 3 on July 1, and Issue 4 on November 1. Issue 5 hatches February 1, 2010.
Submissions: If you'd like to contribute to Around Zine, please email your idea to: Zine AT AroundZine DOT com. The deadline for Issue 5 is January 10. I can't pay you, but all contributors will receive a free copy of the zine, a blurb on the Contributors page, as well as a link from this page! Articles are generally 350 - 700 words and all content needs to be original and not published elsewhere. You can also submit illustrations, reviews, and whatever else you think might interest homeschooling families!
