Jonah, Benjamin, and I made tiramisu one afternoon - they dipped the ladyfingers into the turkish coffee and rum mixture and then lined them up into the pan.
"Great!" I said. Then put a layer of mascarpone on top and asked them to do it again. AGAIN?! TWO LAYERS?! They were flabbergasted.
The photo doesn't do it justice. Except for not soaking the ladyfingers quite long enough, it was one of my top three tiramisu tastings ever. I've only made it myself once before and it wasn't that great. But this was a Cook's Illustrated recipe that had received rave reviews.
