The Christmas Card Debate

I’m debating whether or not to send out Christmas cards this year.  I’m leaning towards not – it takes time, it kills a tree, blah blah blah.   HOWEVER, I love paper!  I love writing on paper!  I love addressing envelopes!  I love stamps!  And I love creating handmade cards with the boys (a few of last year’s cards below)!

Hmm.. here’s a compromise:  we sign up for the Kids Craft Weekly Christmas Card exchange so we get to make a few cards.  Then, I create a page on this site with Merry Christmas wishes and the best photo of all three (million) kids.  Then I’ll email the people on our Christmas card list with the link.

Whew!

Good solution for a mother of 3 under 4 :-) Looking forward to it!

I say do it! Holiday cards are totally worth the assault on Mother Earth, in my opinion. I send cards and then plant a tree and call it even.
