Scene: ArtCenter / South Florida

Growing up near the renovated Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, I was delighted to recently discover Art Center / South Florida.  Though certainly less upscale than the Torpedo Factory, it has the same feel – you can wander through the halls peering in at artists’ studios with their their latest creations and works-in-progess - and sometimes catch them at work.   Here are some highlights from the three Art Center locations along Lincoln Road on South Beach....
