Recent handmade treats, Etsy and otherwise

Another installment of all things handmade and fun, acquired through purchasing, trading, or received in samplers!

First, my fabulous purse from TippyThai....  I used some birthday money to order this absolutely-perfect-for-my-life-right-now bag!

It's deep enough (5") to hold my camera and has an adjustable, over-the-shoulder strap since I don't have six arms (though life would be easier if I did) (well, in some ways).  It has two zippered outisde pockets for keys, cell phone, etc. (easy access) as well as a zipped interior pocket for my wallet (safe).  And a little vertical pocket for pens - no more rummaging around the bottom and coming up with cough drop wrappers and lint bunnies.

The material is durable, but soft enough to be squished under a stroller.  And the color hides the inevitable dirt and stain accumulation (prune juice? vomit?).   And TippyThai made some customizations for me free of charge as well.

If I have time to put a bit of effort into my hair, I also add one of these beautiful flowers from Made Together!  They looked good in the photos, but they are even better in person - I love them!

Some cool postcards - just promos, but I love postcards:

Colorful stamped cards from Sunshine Speckles (hot ait balloon from a photo she took!):

Fun polaroid necklace with cherry blossoms from Jerseymaids and a sparkly beaded ring from Ginger's Beaded Rings and Things, both of which I've worn several times already and love!

And Baby Appleseed took the humble (and invaluable) nursing pad and made it pretty!  Can nursing pads be wall art?

Okay, these are just magnets, but when I see them lined up on my fridge each day, it makes me very happy (from Misschief Productions):

Hilarious recycling patch from Andy Eats Only Candy (I taped it to the boys' bathroom door):
