Favorites: Toddlers’ bedroom

A brief tour of my favorite spots in Benjamin and Jonah’s room...  These colorful insect postcards are from my trip to Cannes several years ago. I placed eight together in one clip frame.

Two cribs collide – where the boys can look, talk, throw share toys with each other, and plot their eventual world domination (Jonah by graffiti and Benjamin by bulldozers).

I picked up this simple puzzle of wooden characters at a garage sale and my boys love it. It rests on the bookshelf and between the jester, boy, princess, red riding hood, and a few wild animals, we invent many stories whilst hanging out on the “big bed” after naps.

The boys’ current favorite books to the right of a wooden Pooh Bear.  Above to the right is a beautiful wooden music box Jonathan's Mom gave him when he was young.

My Mom hung these frames in my brother and my bathroom when we were young. I kept the frames, but changed the images to E.H. Shephard’s renditions of the Hundred Acre Wood characters.

We use these cute monogrammed bags to house myriad stuffed animals.

I found this Reich Karoly print at an art museum in Budapest exactly one year before the boys were born.

So those are my favorite parts of their room. If I showed you the floor, you’d see their favorite parts: legos! blocks! and every type of miniature vehicle known to man!
