Blogroll?
I keep my blogroll on a separate page on my site that is not visible to the public. I do this for three reasons:
one, it clutters up my sidebars,
two, I change it up often, sometimes keeping a site for just a few weeks to determine if it's something I actually want to continue reading on a weekly/monthly basis,
and three, I just want to.
Most of the sites in my collection are about parenting, art, craft, design, homeschooling, food, and web design. But most of these are a little grating to read at the moment because they're talking about the last pair of socks they knitted or sweet potatoes they mashed. These things can be interesting, but not right now.
Two sites on my blogroll I have been reading non-stop the last week are: the aforementioned TheStreet and Freakonomics (specifically this and then also this, which is a link from this). These, plus a touch of Reuters to get the big picture, is all I need to keep informed. Thank you, God, for the internet. It's so much more efficient and informative than television news. (even CNBC & Bloomberg)
It's a good thing I'm a little ahead of myself on my own blog as most of my free time has been spent following this Finance Fiasco. I bought some more Starbucks (stock, that is) y vamos a ver.....
