Abdul Kotami RageBoy

We’re about to send in the information for Silas’ birth certificate and Jonathan wants to change his name to the title of this post. I’m not sure about the first and middle names, but the “RageBoy” comes from the fact that the gas difficulties have not abated.

We tried giving him two feedings of formula last night to see if that would be easier on his system – he brought up every last bit of the second feeding when I gave him a pacifier afterwards. (seems he has Jonah’s sensitive gag reflex) He has been having some reflux, but not many major pukes - just spit-ups.

He slept soundly for an entire hour early this morning, which was the longest he’d gone between screams in a few days. The nursing is still going well – unless he has a gas attack in the middle of it.

I’m holding him now - it’s taken me half an hour to type this one-handed and getting up to pace when he screams every few minutes. Jonathan’s Mom is here and between the three adults he is wearing us out.

So you can understand why I asked the following of Jonathan after he put Silas into the playpen for a few minutes: “Why is he awake and happy about it? Is he still breathing?”
